His work addresses intricate themes, blending his passion for art and environmental sustainability. Addo’s pieces have been displayed internationally in prestigious venues such as the UN Headquarters and the Ghana New York Consulate. His innovative, eco-conscious art continues to captivate collectors around the world, with a focus on creating a positive environmental impact through recycled materials.
ALFONSO, Jesse (Boutique) Lehigh Acres, FL
SCULPTURE: Jesse Alfonso’s sculptures are inspired by marine life and nautical objects, crafted through a creative process that repurposes wood, metal embellishments, and unique patinas. His work transforms materials from “what it was” to “what it is now,” resulting in distinctive, dynamic pieces. Born in Havana, Cuba, in 1961 and raised in the United States, Jesse has been drawn to creating art from a young age. Though not formally trained, his years working in the art industry (1986–2001) played a pivotal role in shaping his artistic journey. STONEWARE CERAMICS: Gerald Arrington, based in northern California’s Sonoma County, has spent over 20 years perfecting his unique stoneware ceramics. A Fine Arts major at Idaho State University with a passion for geology, Gerald's work merges his love for clay and rocks. His process starts with throwing a closed form on the wheel, followed by adding colored slips to create stratification. After drying, he shapes the piece with paddling techniques, giving the ceramics the appearance of river stones smoothed by water. His works, created with influences from both his environment and family, are one-of-a-kind representations of natural beauty. Gerald’s wife, Karen, manages the business, while their son, Ethan, contributes creative ideas to their projects.

JEWELRY: Sher Berman, a skilled artisan, merges vibrant colors with meticulous technique in her bead crochet and lampwork glass jewelry. She also creates her own lampwork beads by melting glass rods with a torch. After earning a BFA from the University of Iowa, Berman transitioned from graphic design to jewelry-making, where she discovered her passion for combining bead crochet with lampworking. After retiring from a career as a psychologist, Fred’s fascination with wood turning evolved over twelve years into an exploration of surface designs. Mindy Colton’s lifelong passion for horses drives her to create one-of-a-kind and limited edition sculptures in mixed media, bronze, aluminum, wood, and other permanent materials. Through her equine-themed works, she evokes symbolism, mystery, and energy, often using horses as metaphors to express beauty, emotion, or narrative. Her unique approach to mixed-media sculpture allows her to explore an endless array of materials—clay, metal, oriental papers, beads, shells, and more. A U.S. Air Force veteran, Tom discovered his love for pottery while studying under Dr. Angelo Garzio in South Korea. He later refined his woodworking skills, a craft he began as a child in Missouri. Today, Tom continues to merge these elements into distinctive works of art that celebrate the harmony of nature and craftsmanship.

MIXED MEDIA: Elle Leonard Dean, founder of Architectural Ceramics LLC, is a fine-art sculptor and creative force behind large ceramic installations. She teaches “Tiles and Murals” at Ringling College of Art and Morean Center for Clay.
