Myth: Hebe was the youngest Cup Bearer on Mt. Olympus. She was the daughter of Zeus and Hera and married Hercules.
I work in encaustic mixed media. I paint with beeswax, resin and pigment and then fuse with heat. I explore the nature of myth which is universal and mirrors our own mythologies in the present tense. Wax enables them to persist, revealing layers of time as their own brand of relic.
